Today’s sheet metal industry, as always, needs highly skilled and motivated workers. Our main source for developing such workers has been through our apprenticeship programs. These programs offer an ‘earn while you learn’ opportunity to launch a lifetime career. You will receive quality training and limitless opportunities to advance while earning a paycheck and health benefits. An apprentice learns through classroom study and on-the-job training, working side by side with a skilled Journeyman. This allows you to gain both practical experience as well as the knowledge you need as you progress through the program.
The Recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin or sex. The JATC will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunities in apprenticeship and training and will operate the apprenticeship program as required under Title 29 of the code of federal regulations, Part 30.
